CHICAGO - Out of respect for what's happening in the D, I've been waiting to comment on the patently bizarre offseason the Chicago baseball clubs have thus far endured.
I don't really have anything to say about this either. Other then, 'sheeeeeit.'
Well, I don't mind one bit talking about baseball in other cities. The BoSox justed raided the Tribe for its director of player development, John Farrell. He's gonna be the BoSox new pitching coach.
I'm not sure how I feel about it. Conventional wisdom pegs Farrell for a GM job. If that were true, why'd he take a pitching coach spot? View from the bench for empathy?
